I had given up on my hair after years of box dyes and Supercuts bowl cuts...but then I stumbled upon Salon Milage at the desperate urging of my fiancé before a big event. I went in blind and asked for a balayage. Alex took her time, explained each step, and turned my hair into something I had never seen. Fast forward 4 years and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else than Salon Milage. Alex is amazing and usually knows what I'm going to ask for before I even tell her. She genuinely loves doing hair and isn't going to do a process just to take your money--she wants you to love your hair and takes pride in everything she does. I can't say enough good things about this salon. Alex is a true gem and a true friend!

Excellent technical skills from a highly competent and friendly professional. My first time at the salon for a wash & blow-dry but anyone with fine, frizzy hair knows technique is crucial. It's surprising how a really good blow-dry is hard to get. Amanda has the perfect technique & it felt great to have my hair done by a stylist who knows her stuff. I made appt for highlights and looking forward to it!

I've been coming here as my default for anything to do with my hair. I love cutting it short and getting it colored, but my scalp is sensitive and my hair is difficult to lift, so I've had plenty of botched or painful jobs. I have never had a problem when I come to Salon Milage; they periodically check in to make sure my scalp isn't burning, and they're able to significantly lift my hair in one sitting with minimal damage. Even though I have a lot of hair, they work quickly and consistently produce stellar results. The staff are also all so warm friendly, and it's always a pleasure chatting with them. 8 move and change cities pretty frequently, but any time I'm in the Boston area, I make sure to come here and never anywhere else.

I have been coming here since it opened its clean well lighted easy location to find in the heart of Davis square.Maria has been cutting hair for over 25 years and is professional ,friendly and an excellent hair stylist.The whole staff seems to know how to treat their customers right.The appointments are easy to make on the online app and telephone appointments can be made also.I highly recommend Salon Milage for Woman and men,you will not be disappointed

I have always had great experiences at Salon Milage. I have been seeing Alex for years (wash/cut/dry), and she always makes my hair feel amazingly clean, healthy and beautiful every time! Alex is brilliant, kind, communicative and wonderful; I couldn't ask for a better stylist.

Excellent! Very friendly staff, I got exactly what I wanted after showing a picture of a stacked short bob for my fine hair. I do not know the name of the lady who cut my hair but she was great and listened attentively when I explained what I wanted; the result was great. Not every hairdresser understands their clients' need but here they did 100%. I will be back! Thank you for my cute summer cut!

Alex is an expert. She is hardworking and has exquisite attention to detail when it comes to cuts and color. She helped me go blonde in a way that is flattering on me and gentle on my hair. When I'm at the salon, I feel safe and like all staff are taking necessary Covid precautions. Every time I leave, I feel beautiful! I have been to many hair salons in my lifetime and she is one of the most skilled and personable as my colorist and hair stylist. There is no small talk while I'm getting my hair done. Our conversation is always informative and educational. I trust her with my color and cut every time : no matter what changes Amanda makes, she always does something which inspires compliments from my friends.
